The Council of ACT Motor Clubs was incorporated in 1985 and represents over 70 motoring clubs in the ACT and surrounding region. There are more than 5,000 members within our member motoring clubs and nearly 1,200 vehicles on concessional registration. The interests of our member clubs are wide and varied and we continue to grow as new clubs become affiliated.
The Council is also affiliated with the Australian History Motoring Federation which represents 600 vehicle clubs and 100,000 vehicle owners Australia-wide.
The Council aims to advance the interests of the heritage and other motoring enthusiast movement and promotes good driving and road safety.
The Council provides an advocacy role for stakeholders, promotes interest in motoring and facilitates networking among motor clubs and enthusiasts.
The Council conducts a range of projects and provides guidance to clubs on a wide range of associated motoring and safety issues.
